The same job is a different job on every street. We sort the street.
There is no travel surcharge by borough. What moves a price in London is the site: a terrace with no side access, a narrow street that needs a bay suspension for deliveries, a controlled parking zone, or a flat above a shop that is still trading. Those are priced into the quotation and shown in it, not added afterwards.
Each borough sets its own hours for noisy work, its own skip and scaffold licensing and its own lead times, which is why the applications go in early rather than the week before we start. Commercial fit-out inside a trading centre is the reverse: the work runs overnight to the centre’s permit. How that sequence runs from first visit to handover is set out on how we work.

Then check the boring parts, which are the ones that matter: public liability insurance in place, building control sign-off on previous jobs, and a warranty that runs from handover. A builder who shows you the map of where they have worked, and the jobs on it, has nothing to hide about the last one.

No, there is no travel surcharge by borough. We arrange them. That means the borough's skip or hoarding licence, a bay suspension where the street will not take a delivery, and a licence for scaffolding over the footway. Each borough runs its own process and its own lead times, which is why they are applied for early. The cost sits in the quotation, not in a later invoice.
Most boroughs permit noisy work from the start of the working day to early evening on weekdays, with shorter hours on Saturday and none on Sunday. The exact times are set by the local authority, and we work to the ones that apply to your street. Commercial fit-out inside a trading centre is the reverse, and runs overnight to the centre's permit.
For commercial fit-out, yes. Brand rollouts have taken the crew to Manchester, Liverpool and Oxford, building to the same approved package as the London stores. Extensions, lofts and renovations stay in London and the immediate edge of it, because that work needs the crew on site daily and a site manager who can be there the same day.
